MOSCOW, Apr 10 (PRIME) -- Moscow’s businesses will receive 25 billion rubles of aid to offset losses from the spread of coronavirus, the city’s emergency center for economic issues said in its Telegram channel on Friday.
“Moscow’s businesses will get aid of 25 billion rubles…including over 13 billion rubles of compensation for part of rent and tax payments and around 11.5 billion rubles of tax payment delays,” the center said.
Owners of commercial property can also receive the city government’s support of around 8.6 billion rubles for a quarter if they halve the rent rate.
“In addition, decisions of the Russian government are valid in the city. The sum also does not cover measures to support demand including higher unemployment payments,” the center also said.
